2. Booking and Payment

- Payment Terms: Payment for moving services is due on the day of service completion unless otherwise arranged. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, and online payments. A deposit may be required for long-distance moves or large projects.
- Payment Confirmation: Once the payment has been processed, a confirmation will be sent to the client. All fees must be paid in full before the service is completed.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations: You may cancel your move at any time prior to the scheduled date. However, Aripeka Movers reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if the cancellation occurs within a certain timeframe (typically 24–48 hours before the scheduled service).
- Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your move, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Additional fees may apply if there is a significant change in the scheduled date.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate details about the items being moved, including any special requests or fragile items. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or delays.
- Item Condition: Customers are responsible for ensuring that their items are ready for moving and that they are properly packed or protected. Aripeka Movers is not responsible for damages to improperly packed or unsecured items.
- Access and Parking: Customers must ensure that the moving site has adequate access for our vehicles and that parking spaces are available. If access issues arise (such as narrow roads or blocked driveways), additional fees may apply.
5. Liability and Insurance
- Liability for Damaged Items: Aripeka Movers is fully responsible for the safety of your items during transit. However, our liability for damage to items is limited to a specific amount unless you purchase additional insurance coverage.
- Insurance Options: We recommend purchasing additional insurance to cover valuable or fragile items. Our team can assist in determining the most suitable insurance coverage for your move.
- Exclusions from Liability: Aripeka Movers is not liable for damage to items that are not adequately packed or for damage caused by customer actions, such as failure to provide accurate information or improper access to properties.
6. Storage Services
- Storage Conditions: All items stored with Aripeka Movers are stored in our secure storage facilities. However, Aripeka Movers is not responsible for damages or loss of items caused by natural disasters, fire, theft, or other unforeseen circumstances unless the appropriate insurance coverage is purchased.
- Storage Fees: Storage fees are charged based on the space and duration your items are stored. Payment is required in advance or on a monthly basis as per the agreement.
- Item Retrieval: Customers may retrieve stored items by providing adequate notice. Any items left in storage beyond the agreed-upon time may incur additional fees or be considered abandoned, subject to the terms of the contract.
7. Prohibited Items
Certain items may not be moved or stored by Aripeka Movers, including, but not limited to:
- Hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, flammable substances)
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, plants)
- Firearms, explosives, and illegal substances
- Live animals
If we find prohibited items during the moving process, we reserve the right to refuse service or request the removal of these items at the customer’s expense.
8. Delays and Force Majeure
While Aripeka Movers strives to complete all moves on time, we are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Traffic or weather-related disruptions
- Accidents or mechanical failures of vehicles
- Acts of God (earthquakes, floods, storms, etc.)
- Delays due to customs clearance (for international moves)
In case of delays, we will do our best to notify you promptly and provide you with an updated schedule. However, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from such delays.
9. Customer Complaints and Disputes
- Complaint Process: If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us within 7 days of the service completion to file a complaint. We will review your concerns and make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
